“What is Pain on the Right Side of Lower Back?"
Do you suffer from back pain on right side? Do you wonder what causes back pain on right side? I have personally experienced right side back pain in the past and found the relief to back pain on right side to be broken down into three different “considerations."
Use this information to get pain relief on the right side of the lower back:
- Your first consideration for right side back pain should be improving core strength. The basis for improving core strength to eradicate back pain on right side is simple; restore key muscle imbalances linked to your back pain symptoms on the right side.
- Your second consideration for right side back pain should be to improve flexibility. Poor flexibility of key muscles will likely be a leading cause of back pain on right side.
- Your third consideration for right side back pain should be to improve posture. This might mean sitting, standing or sleeping postures that currently affect your back pain on right side.

Right side back pain could be a direct result of conditions related to your kidneys or appendicitis. Right Side Back Pain in Muscles
As seen here, muscles that are sprained or strained on the right side are very likely to yield right side back pain. These muscles are labeled on the picture (1. Paraspinal erector muscles, and 2. The quadratus lumborum muscle). There is a simple back pain fix for this sort of back pain on right side too. With proper guidance following my back pain videos, it is likely to resolve symptoms for most people experiencing right side back pain.
Right Side Back Pain - Go Away!
Even after following my three top considerations for back pain on right side, and following all the advice on eliminating right side back pain, it still may be that your pain symptoms persist.
